Terms of Service

By registering for a workshop at Stellar Scribe Creative, you're joining a community dedicated to the craft of storytelling. We've spent 8 years refining our curriculum in New York to provide the best possible experience for beginner writers. But how do we maintain the magic?

Classroom Conduct & Creative Safety

Writing is vulnerable work. We expect all participants to engage in "constructive empathy" during critique sessions. Harassment, Hate speech, or consistently disruptive behaviour will result in immediate removal without refund. We're here to build worlds, not tear each other down.

Intellectual Property: Your Voice, Your Rights

Do we own your characters? Absolutely not. Everything you create within our 624 Wythe Avenue studio—or via our digital portals—remains 100% your intellectual property. We only ask for the right to feature brief excerpts in our annual student showcase, provided we have your written consent first.

Cancellations & Refunds

Life happens. If you need to withdraw from a workshop, we offer a full refund up to 14 days before the start date. Within 7-14 days, you'll receive a 50% credit. Have you ever wondered why we're so strict about this? To keep our intimate class sizes (limited to 8 participants), we need to ensure every seat is accounted for.

Student Responsibilities

Attendance matters. In a collaborative workshop, your peers rely on your feedback. While we don't assign "homework" in the traditional sense, we'll encourage you to spend at least 2 hours a week on your manuscript outside of class. You'll get out exactly what you put in.
